It converts video (MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI) to MP4, WebM, GIF or audio; audio between MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A and FLAC; PDF pages to PNG, JPG or plain text; images (PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, SVG, GIF, BMP) to each other or to PDF; and data between JSON, CSV, TSV and YAML.

What files can I convert?

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Every conversion happens locally in your browser, including video and PDF, so your files never leave your device. That makes it suitable for private or sensitive documents.

Why convert images to WebP?

WebP produces significantly smaller files than PNG or JPG at similar quality, which speeds up your pages and improves Core Web Vitals without a visible drop in quality.

Can I convert HEIC photos from an iPhone?

Yes. HEIC and HEIF files can be converted to JPG, PNG, or WebP. Decoding also happens in your browser, so large photos can take a few seconds.

Can I convert a MOV video to MP4, or extract the audio as MP3?

Yes. Drop in a MOV, MKV, AVI or WebM file and choose MP4 for a video that plays everywhere, GIF for a short animation, or MP3 or WAV to keep only the sound. The first video or audio conversion downloads a converter of about 30 MB, which is then cached.

How do I turn a PDF into images or text?

Drop the PDF and choose PNG or JPG to get one image per page, zipped when there is more than one page, or TXT to extract the text. Scanned PDFs contain no selectable text, so convert those to images instead.

Is there a file size limit for video conversion?

Files up to 1 GB are accepted. Because the work happens on your device rather than a server, long or high-resolution videos take noticeably longer than in a desktop app, so keep the tab open until it finishes.
