About these tools

Game engines are picky about textures. Unity wants smoothness in the alpha channel of a mask map, Unreal wants a DirectX normal map with roughness in green, Godot wants an ORM texture, and every 2D engine wants its sprites on one sheet with a coordinate file. The art itself is done; what is left is plumbing between formats.

These tools cover that step. The sprite sheet packer turns a folder of PNGs into one atlas with JSON, XML or Godot resources. The normal map generator converts a height map or a plain texture into a tangent-space normal map in either OpenGL or DirectX convention. The channel packer combines metallic, occlusion and roughness maps into a single texture with presets for Unity HDRP, URP and ORM. The cubemap generator assembles six faces into the layouts engines import as a skybox.

Everything runs on your own device. Unreleased art is not uploaded anywhere, there is no file-count limit and no watermark, and the tools work the same for a jam prototype as for a commercial project.
