Who we are

theuseful.website is run by Digital Vibes GmbH, Nidelbatstrasse 56, 8038 Zürich, Switzerland. By using the site you accept these terms. Full company details are on the imprint.

The tools

The tools are free and need no account. We provide them as they are, without a guarantee that they are always available, free of errors, or fit for a particular purpose. Check the output before you rely on it, and keep your own copy of any file you process.

Acceptable use

• Only process files and check URLs that you are allowed to use.
• Do not use the tools for anything unlawful, or to attack, overload or scan other people's systems.
• Do not run automated bulk requests against the URL checkers. We rate-limit them and may block abusive traffic.

Directory submissions

When you submit a website to the directory you confirm that you may represent it and that the information is accurate. We decide which sites are listed, may edit a listing, and may remove it at any time. We do not list sites with adult, gambling, hateful, deceptive or otherwise unlawful content.

Links to other websites

The directory and the guides link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, their availability, or how they handle your data.

Advertising

The site is paid for by advertising, which Google AdSense delivers. Ads are marked as such and are chosen by Google, not by us. An ad is not our recommendation of the product. How ads use data is described in the privacy policy.

Intellectual property

The site, its code, text and design belong to Digital Vibes GmbH. You may use the tools for private and commercial work, and the files you create with them are yours. You may not copy the site or republish its content as your own.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage that results from using the site or from being unable to use it, including lost data and lost profit. Liability for intent and gross negligence is not limited.

Changes and governing law

We may change these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Swiss law applies, and the courts of Zürich, Switzerland have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.
