100 useful websites, sorted by what you need them for

Most lists of useful websites are long and unsorted. This one has 100 entries grouped by the job you want done, with one line on what each site does and what it costs.

Updated

How this list works

Every site here is free or has a free tier that covers the task described. Where the free tier has a limit that matters, the entry says so.

18 of the 100 are tools we build and host on this site. They are marked, they need no account, and they stay free. We list them next to the well-known options so you can pick whichever fits.

We checked every link on 1 October 2026.
