Mappit is an interactive map of world news. Every few hours an AI feed engine sweeps hundreds of cities — Gemini and Claude web search plus Reddit's local communities — and pins what's happening onto the map at mappit.ai, each story sentiment-scored and geolocated. Browsing is free; registered users post, react, subscribe, put themselves on the map with a user pin (Find Me / Follow Me live-position tracking), and wake up to a Claude-composed Daily Digest. Mappit Plus members plant their own pins — places, events, street addresses — curate collections that compute into drivable multi-stop routes, import datasets as map layers, draw and measure, and get priority access to Marco, a RAG chatbot that has read the entire map, past and present. Street-address search, reverse geocoding, and turn-by-turn directions round out the navigation layer, and a date-range filter turns the whole site into a time machine.
